Institution Onboarding
Invitation and Sign-Up
SOLO is currently an invite-only platform, but we plan to make it open to everyone in the future. Existing institutions and employers on SOLO can invite other learners, institutions, and employers either individually or in bulk using their email addresses.
Accepting an Invite
Step 1: Invitation Email
- You will receive an invite email with a link to join the SOLO platform.The invite link will be sent by an existing institution or employer on the platform and it is to signup with a specific role. You can only sign up with that role using link.
- Click on the link provided in the email to proceed.
Step 2: Sign-Up Page
- The link will take you to the sign-up page where your invited email will already be filled in.
- SOLO provides two options for sign-up:
- Sign up with Email
- Sign up with Google or LinkedIn account
Sign-Up with Email:
- Enter a unique username, create a password, and confirm your password.
- Check the box to agree to SOLO’s terms and conditions.
- Click on "Sign Up."
Sign-Up with Google or LinkedIn:
- Click on the appropriate button to sign up with your Google or LinkedIn account.
- Verification of email is not required if signing up using Google or LinkedIn.
Step 3: Verification
- After signing up with an email, you will receive a pop-up message confirming your sign-up was successful.
- Click on the "Verify" button.
- An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your invited email. Enter the OTP on the verification page.
- Upon successful verification, you will receive a message that your account has been successfully activated.
- Click on "Sign In" to proceed.
Step 4: Sign In
- Enter your invited email and password, then click "Sign In," or sign in with Google or LinkedIn.
