Approvals

In the SOLO Network, all approvals are crucial for maintaining the integrity and verification of user information. There are two main types of approvals: Registration Approvals and Profile Record Approvals.

Types of Approvals​

  1. Registration Approvals:

    • When an institution or employer invites a learner and the registration approval is set to manual, the registration approval shows signed-up learners awaiting account activation.
    • Institutions or employers can view these approvals and activate the accounts if approved.

  2. Profile Record Approvals:

    • When a learner adds any profile record, such as education, work experience, or training, and mentions the institution or employer as the provider, an approval is sent.
    • Institutions or employers can approve these records to verify them. If not verified, such records will remain unverified and shown as self-issued credentials of the learner.

Approval Types​

Education Approval​

  • When a learner adds their education details to their profile, an approval is sent to the mentioned institution.
  • The institution can find these approvals in the Approvals section.
  • Upon approval, the education details will be shown as verified on the learner's profile, and a credential will be issued with the institution as the issuer.

Work Experience Approval​

  • When a learner adds their work experience details to their profile, an approval is sent to the respective company mentioned.
  • The company can find these approvals in a dedicated section on the platform.
  • Upon approval, the work experience will be displayed as verified on the learner's profile, and a credential will be issued with the employer as the issuer.

Training Approval​

  • When a learner adds their training details to their profile, an approval is sent to the mentioned training institution.
  • The institution can find these approvals in the Approvals section.
  • Upon approval, the training details will be shown as verified on the learner's profile, and a credential will be issued with the institution as the issuer.

By managing these approvals, institutions and employers can ensure that only verified information is displayed on the learner's profile and that the registration process is streamlined and secure.
